University of Florida activities and Ocala equine events are 15-30 minute drives. Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and both east and west Florida coast lines are 1-1/2 to 2 hours away. Our part of Florida is a recreation paradise of numerous springs, rivers, lakes, and prairies. This is horse country too, and we are famous for our international equine competitions.
We are next door to the Ocala Jockey Club, 2 miles from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and 10 miles from Parelli Natural Horsemanship’s Florida Center Courses.
The owners, Martha Jane and Doug Davis, occupy the upstairs of the house and assure you of a quiet and private stay in your suite. An experience of true southern hospitality is to be expected!
